Chaldon Herring and Surrounding Areas

Chaldon Herring offers visitors a lovely holiday location in breathtaking surroundings. From the dramatic swathes of heathland, home to many rare species of birds and wildlife, to the stunning landscapes of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door just 4 miles away this amazing area abounds in wonderful walks and scenic views. Indeed, the pathway directly in front of the bungalow leads directly onto the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast. Turn left when you get to the top for Lulworth or right to head towards Weymouth, via the Smugglers Inn of course!

Slightly further afield Monkey World and the Bovington Tank Museum are both just 10 minutes drive away. Take the coast route past Lulworth and Kimmeridge Bay to Corfe Castle and a little further onto the wonderful Swanage and Studland beaches. Heading West in the opposite direction Dorchester and Weymouth are both about ten miles away.
